But why?
Where are you from?
Brentford.
Oh yeah. In Essex, right?
No, that’s Brentwood.
Right. So, err, where is it?

It was a dance as old as time itself for long-suffering Brentfordians. Awkward house party small talk before the punch kicks in. Meaningless park chatter while your dog takes a dump. Inane barbershop banter before requesting the same haircut you've had for the last 25 years... until now.
Thanks to the success of the local football team, the unstoppable rise of the universe's No.1 garage crew, and a massive high street regeneration project - grown men cried when Greggs opened - Brentford is finally on the London map. Let’s ignore the Twickenham postcode.
With blocks of new-build flats shooting up like Japanese knotweed, dragging coffee shops, craft beer pubs and even, God forbid, a Holland & Barrett in its wake, this once-ignored slice of the capital has become almost desirable. Sure, they had to knock down a few factories and displace the original residents. But you can’t put a price on an overpriced coffee, can you?
This site aims to deliver some poorly-constructed blogs (well, lists really, as they’re much easier to write and read) covering Brentford and a few neighbouring boroughs' palette of pubs, local attractions, and news.
We are not affiliated with anyone and will aim to be mostly positive. Although South Western Railways can expect to take a few vitriolic volleys.
